Dear Storywriter,

Just a short note to let you know that as the Spring '09 Horsham Story Links course is now fully booked, we have scheduled in an additional Story Links course in Horsham for next term. There is no charge for this 3-day training which is supported by the TDA and the Esmee Fairbairn Foundation. Open to professionals from all LAs.

Dates: 23 Sept, 7 Oct & 21 Oct 2008
Venue: Central Sussex College Horsham
Target Group: SENCOs & SEN teachers supporting pupils with BESDs at KS1 & 2.

Story Links is a 10-week intervention that uses Therapeutic Storywriting to support parents and individual pupils at risk of exclusion because of behaviours related to attachment difficulties. The project will be evaluating the impact of the intervention on pupils' emotional well-being and reading skills in a selected group of schools. See website for further information.
